Saint-Tropez Restaurants
In such an expensive city as St-Tropez, one would expect to pay through the nose for a decent meal. While there are several expensive restaurants in the city, here are a few that are worth the price.
Auberge des Maures
This seasonal restaurant is located at the end of the pedestrian street, rue Allard. It makes good on limited space by setting up tables on the garden, where you should definitely try to get a table so that you can eat surrounded by fountains and Provencal stone walls. As for the menu, stick to local dishes: anything with the word Provencal is sure to be tasty, especially if it's fresh from the sea. When in doubt, ask one of the waiters - they may seem busy, but they will be more than happy to help you make a selection.
Chez Maggi
Chez Maggi is well-known around town as an openly gay restaurant and bar; half of the space is devoted to the bar itself, where most of the gay crowd hangs out every night. The dining room is in a separate area and serves typical Provencal dishes with a slightly Asian twist. For a fun atmosphere and good food, Chez Maggi is the place to be.
Le Girelier
Bouillabaisse is actually a Marseillaise dish, but many restaurants catering to tourists on the Riviera offer it anyway, albeit usually a bastardized version not worth the effort. If you're going to try bouillabaisse outside of Marseille, this is one of the best places to go. Bouillabaisse for two is just one of the seafood dishes that this restaurant does so well. It sits right on the quay and its blue-and-white color scheme has become its trademark around town.

Leï Mouscardins
This award-winning restaurant is traditional to the core, from décor to cuisine. On the menu, nearly everything is based in seafood and done Provencal style, with tomatoes, garlic, olives... If you're a seafood fan, try the bourride provençale, a Provencal fish stew similar to bouillabaisse.
Spoon Byblos
This restaurant located within the hotel Byblos is the brainchild of celebrity chef Alain Ducasse. Spoon has found homes in some of the most touted cities from a culinary perspective - London, Paris and now St-Tropez. The cuisine is a combination of international cuisines accompanied by a chic atmosphere and an impressive wine collection. Of course, the real star is the food : seafood made up with influences from Morocco, Catalonia, and, of course, the Riviera.
