Cannes Nightlife
Cannes offers a little bit of everything when it comes to nightlife: whether you're looking for a chill night with friends and people to talk to or a crazy night of dancing, you're sure to find something.
Quay's Pub
Located right on the quay, as its name suggests, Quay's is the place to be for Anglo expats and people who want to practice their English! The bartenders are friendly, the drinks are cheap, and twice a week there is live music. Quay's is also a home away from home for the bartenders at nearby Morrison's Pub and Lounge.
Morrison's Pub and Lounge
Morrison's Pub and Lounge near the train station is another Irish pub in Cannes. The bartenders at both places are friendly, and so a lot of the same bands play at both places. Morrison's has the added bonus of a Sunday night Ladies' night with unlimited wine or beer for about 7 euros. The lounge area next to the pub serves cocktails in a chic-er setting with low lights and house music.
Midnight Blues
Thursday nights, everyone is at Midnight Blues, a small bar with dancing hidden away not to far from the beach. Thursday night is Ladies' Night, which means cheap drinks, lots of people, and a good mix of American throwback music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s as well as some more modern picks of house and electronica.
Au Bureau
Situated in the center of the city, Au Bureau is a popular bar all year long, but it becomes one of the places to be when the festival rolls around. Its name means - at the office -, a joke for those who want to tell their significant others that they're still "au bureau" while having a crazy night out! Au Bureau has a great atmosphere that mixes casual lounge with dancing: you can just as easily find a seat with a pint and have a chat with friends or bust a move!
Baoli
Possibly the most exclusive club in all of Cannes, Baoli is the place to be if you want to see stars during the festival or meet rich yacht-owners during the year. A combination expensive restaurant and club, the best way to visit Baoli is to go all-out and reserve a table for you and a few friends. You'll have the table all night, you'll never have to visit the bar to refresh your drinks, and you can grab a snack from the extensive menu when you get puckish after a few hours of dancing! To get into Baoli, you need to dress to the nines, and if you haven't reserved a table, be aware that you?ll probably have to wait at least an hour in line.
